English Speaking Pharmacy
There is a pharmacy very close to campus, called “Yes Chain” Pharmacy is located over the DaoNan bridge, look at the map HERE. You can go there and ask for your medication. Most of the staff in there speak English and are very friendly as well.
The variety is wide and you only need to show your prescription if needed. You can as well simply call them to check for the availability of the medication, in order for them to check for you.
Tel.: 02-8661-7755
Note that the person who answers the phone might not speak English, so simply ask for someone who can. Although, the clinic is very a couple of blocks away from campus.
If you go out of school and you walk towards the bridge (to the left outside of school), you pass the bridge and cross the street after the traffic light and then keep walking until you get to the small night market, on the left side of the street you will find some fruit vendors. Right after the fruit vendors there is the clinic, there is no way to get lost and it will be easily found by simply walking straight on the left side of the street all the way from school.
The working hours are:
From 9:00am to 10:00pm
Same working hours from Monday through Sunday.
Keymaker
Have you ever encountered yourself without the keys of your room?
Well the key-maker can help you change the locker of your door and also get you copy of the key in case of emergency in the future.
It’s very close to campus. If you are facing Mc Donald’s restaurant in front of the entrance, then you walk left like if you were heading to the bridge, on the left side of the street you will find a small store that is a few steps away from the bus stop. That’s the keymaker’s store.
The price range varies according to the key type, it goes from 40NTs to 100NTs and it takes about 10 minutes to be ready. You can as well, as mentioned earlier, get his assistance to change the locker of your door and that would cost you around 150NTs.
Unfortunately, there are no English speaking staff in that store, but it won’t be hard to communicate as they can understand basic English and body language can never fail
you’ll be fine.
The phone number is:
02-2939-9417
Their working hours are:
From 9:00am to 10:00pm
Same working hours from Monday through Sunday.
